File Protector 2000 is not an ordinary utility. It gets the presti
gious 5-star
rating from ZDNet, the shareware guru.
Not only can it hide your file and or folder, it can do much much more. It can
protect your files / folders from being read or written, from being renamed or
deleted, ... all in your control.
Wild cards in file or folder names is supported too! This will ease you in
grouping files you want to protect, such as *.EXE, *.TXT, *.DOC, *.XLS, etc.
It now supports "on demand password" feature (for Windows NT/20
8;0), that is,
asking password only when you want to access the protected file or folder.
It means ... you can password protect your files or folders very easily.
This is a very nice feature. When someone wants to access your file, a
password dialog box will pop-up. Interesting, isn't it ? You can set
the
password to be the same as or different from the login password to File
Protector 2000 Monitor program.
File Protector 2000 is easy to use, and is running not only under
Windows
9x or Me, but also under Windows NT/2000.
For your convenience, File Protector 2000 also supports hot key to
launch
the Monitor program, and also to reactivate File Protector 2000 pr
otection.
This hotkey feature is very handy, when you want to reactivate File Protector
2000 fast. Consider the situation when you're working on your
computer, then
someone comes near you, ... and you need to reactivate the protection, ...
That's the hotkey function ...
The other feature is to define "safe programs" (for Windows NT/20&
#48;0), that
is programs that can access the protected files / folders. You may want to
define programs such as anti-virus software or backup utilities as safe
programs, thus allowing them to access the protected files / folders.
File Protector 2000 can even auto reactivate its protection when y
our
computer is idle for a certain amount of time you set. This is cool. You
do not need to worry if you forget to reactivate File Protector 200

protection when leaving your desk. File Protector 2000 can reactiv
ate itself.

Unzip, install the program, run the keygen to make reginfo, and use it
to register the program.
